• Allow yourself at least 1 hour to try on dresses, appointments are never needed! Click Here for Important Weekend Info

• If you stop into Jan's 15 minutes prior to Jan's closing you'll never have enough time to try on or buy a dress! Jan's does not stay open past closing, Click Here for current store hours.
  

• Prom girls must be accompanied with their parent(s) to try on prom gowns.
  

• Please note at times, especially weekends, Jan's has more customers than sales help, our customers sometimes have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to try on or to be assisted. We apologize if this occurs when you visit Jan's as this is NOT our intention to ignore you but like any good restaurant we can get packed at any time! If you demand immediate attention when you walk into Jan's then we recommend that you visit us as soon as we open our doors. • You do not need bring your shoes to try on dresses, we have them here for you, although you are always welcome to bring your own.

• Tell your loved ones (the guys) to take a seat on the couch and watch one of our 60" plasma tv's. All men are not allowed near Jan's 20+ dressing rooms. The game is always on at Jan's!
  

• Please note no water bottles or other beverages and or food can be brought into Jan's!

• Jan's sells it's stock everyday! (our dresses are not beat-up samples like the other stores you have visited) Jan's sells 100 dresses per day, our inventory is new and is always stored in clear garment bags!
  
  
• Browse and select the dresses to try on (only three at-a-time in the dressing room), a sales associate must assist you in the dressing room. Why? Tell me more.
  

• You will be asked to remove your jewelry (earrings-rings-necklaces-belly rings-etc.) prior to trying on our dresses. This is done to protect our dresses from being pulled. Jewelry is the leading cause for all pulls in clothing.
  

• All Jan's inventory is on the sales floor (not in a back room for us to bring out to you). Jan's is not a beat-up or run-down store....Jan's Boutique is classy and well-organized retailer!
  
  
• Our sales associates will ask you your price range to better assist you, our dresses start around $250 and go up to $5000.
  

• Looking for a steal? Tell our sales associates you want to see our sale rack (dresses as low as $150!)
  

• ALL eveningwear runs 1 to 2 sizes smaller than your street clothes! Due to the fact that dresses tried on too small can strain and or break the zipper you must understand you can't try on dresses smaller than your size. Jan's sales associates will determine if certain size dresses can be tried on.

• Can't find a dress from stock in the size and color of your choice? then Jan's can special order one for you! We do it everyday.
  
  
• We'll take your measurements and Guarantee to Order you the right Size or we'll order you another dress! We special order dresses everyday and never screw up the size ordered!
  
  
• Jan's has swatches of all the designers just in case you need to special order in a different color!
  
  
• Dresses take as long as 3 months to order or as short as 7-10 days if in stock at the manufacturer for a nominal rush charge. See our Insider Tips
  
  
• Select Designers custom make their dresses in less than 14 to 21 days for a rush charge.
  
  
• Jan's does custom Alterations, Jan's has a full-service staff with combined 100 years of experience, please note we only alter clothing purchased at Jan's.
  
  
• Jan's offers a huge selection of coordinating accessories, undergarments and shoes. Jan's was voted best Accessories by South Jersey Magazine!
  
  
• Jan's can accommodate last minute customers dress needs and alterations.
