What is a Trunkshow?
A trunkshow is an old term which manufacturers in the garment business used many years ago to ship their samples or actual inventory to the retailers in a 'big trunk.”
Today this tradition still continues to work for the retailer and the manufacturer. These samples or inventory shipped to the retailer are the new-styles for the upcoming season, something only retailers see months before the season starts. These trunk shows give you the perfect opportunity to preview exactly what the buyers of Diane & Co previews in the New York, California, Atlanta, Chicago and European showrooms months beforehand.
You can purchase these garments or special order them in the color and size of your choice at the trunk show. Trunk shows are a wonderful because it allows you to see more styles, enabling you to make an informed decision of which styles would look best on you. The best part- purchasing a gown at a trunk show enables you to take advantage of the designers discount of 10-25%!
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not mandatory; however along with trunk shows, comes high traffic. In order to provide you the best service possible, we recommend you email us or call us to schedule your appointment. Our goal is to ensure you have a wonderful shopping experience.
